The name Viceroy and Skipper is a story that sparks wonder. It's a name that holds a lot of weight, and my favorite question is

"Who is Viceroy and who is Skipper?

Limenitis archippus, or Viceroy, is a butterfly with a striking resemblance to a monarch butterfly. In the name, a steward. One who governs on behalf of something greater, carrying the voice and power of the monarch into a place that needs care.

Ochlodes sylvanoides, the captain of this situation, is the Woodland Skipper. This small, quick, and persistent creature reminds us that meaningful change comes through consistent, attentive care, connecting life in quiet, powerful ways.

Viceroy and Skipper is all about supporting diversity, solidity, & sustainability.
